Assisted Living with
Compassion and Integrity

“Show respect to the elderly, and honor older people. In this way you show respect for your God. I am the Lord.” Leviticus 19:32(GW)

Supervisory Care

We supervise daily functioning of the resident which can include crisis prevention and a hand with self prescribed medication.

Personal Care

We help the resident with any activities that do not recquire professional training which can include nursing services.

Direct Care

We take close care of almost all of the residents need. This program is provided for an individual who is unable to recognize danger, vocally ask for assistance, or make basic care decisions.
Our highly qualified nursing staff and caregivers go above and beyond their training to provide a family atmosphere for our residents. We care for those who are in need, providing a positive Christian environment where they can experience a safe and comfortable living. Our assisted living fees are based on the level of care needed for elderly or debilitated individuals in need of long term care, respite care and short term acute care. Our assisted living care foundation is built on 3 levels of assistance which are Supervisory, Personal, and Direct.

About Us

Pull up a chair and get to know us. We strive to give you our full attention and make you feel at home when you come here, whether client, family or friend.

Christian Care Assisted Living is focused on individualized care. It is a small and very personal assisted living home operated by a Christian family. It was established in 2008 to be something distinctly different. We have a home-like environment for those clients and or their family members who are desiring personalized and caring assistance with their activities of daily living in a place where Christian values are still practiced. It is for those who want a place where you are treated with the respect and dignity due to an elderly or infirmed individual. Families of our clients are encouraged to be involved in the lives of their loved ones if at all possible and maintain their relationships with each other and their friends.

Christian Care Assisted Living is located in northwest Arizona, along with famous Route 66, in the town of Kingman, Az. It is just minutes off of interstate I-40 with many attractions both locally and within a couple hours drive. The temperatures are moderate and pleasant year round, making this a popular area for retirees from the north and Midwest.

Steve and Estella Kemp have built up a reputation of caring for people for many years. Steve is a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience. He oversees all aspects of administration for the home. He also performs the assessments of each client on admission and monitors them for any changes in their condition. He is involved in the ongoing training of the staff and oversees any specialized treatments ordered for our clients.  He is one of the features that set Christian Care Assisted Living apart from other assisted living homes in the area. Estella is a CNA (certified nursing assistant) with over 10 years of experience in caring for the elderly.  Together, they and their staff manage and care for their clients with skill and expertise that is unrivaled in the area.

I am writing this note to thank you for the excellent care that you and your wife, Stella, provided for my mother. We really appreciate the fact that you not only cared for her: you made her a part of your family and included her in your daily activities. I know that she really enjoyed the time she spent with you. R & D Mills

I want to thank you for the excellent professional service you and Estella provided to our family in the caretaking of my father.  I know that was difficult work after his several strokes and physical handicaps in the last few months of his life.  Please feel free to use my name as a reference for anyone who might be considering placing a loved one in your care or in your assisted living home.  Thank you again for making our family’s life so much easier during my fathers’ illness. Jerry

Not only did they do a wonderful job of caring for him, but also made Jim and I feel part of their family. Because it is a private home,….they get very personalized care and attention. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an assisted living home. M. Baker
